This role is part of our Youth & Recreational Sports group, comprised of technology platforms such as SportsEngine (https://www.sportsengine.com/solutions) HQ, SportsEngine Motion (https://www.gomotionapp.com/solutions) , SportsEngine Play (https://www.sportsengine.com/play) and SportsEngine Tourney. (https://www.tourneymachine.com/Home.aspx) We enable athletes, parents, coaches and team administrators in the youth and recreational space to manage their organizations, collect payments, share schedules, find programs to participate in and connect with other families. Additionally, NCSI (https://solutions.ncsisafe.com/#home-banner) enables leagues and organizations to properly screen and train coaches in an effort to keep kids safe.  

The Director of Enterprise Account Management is responsible for developing and managing strategic relationships with key partners to drive business growth and achieve organizational goals. This role involves collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to identify partnership opportunities, negotiate agreements, and ensure the success of joint initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business development, strategic planning, and relationship management. 

  • Collaborate across business functions to develop, establish, and execute the company’s enterprise account management and sport vertical strategy. 

  • Lead the enterprise and safety account management team -- establish and manage direct reports to monthly, quarterly, and annual targets; coaching and long-term development of team members 

  • Provide consultative feedback and advice to help create the best possible experience for our customers and their entire organization 

  • Liaise with the product development, safety and marketing teams to ideate and create strategic account management assets 

  • Generate upsell opportunities, prepare and present accurate and comprehensive sales pitches/presentations, and establish close business relationships with all levels of clients. 

  • Own, manage and develop deep relationships at the executive level of key clients 

  • Provide support, insights and enablement on our sport vertical strategy across the organization 

  • People leadership responsible for regular 1x1 meeting cadence, ongoing performance development, and performance reviews. 

  • Facilitate and promote an inclusive and respectful work environment for all employees 

  • Collaborate with sales leadership peers to continually improve leadership acumen 

  • Act as a role model and own the company mission and values 

  • Assist in building the enterprise budget plan and operational model and own delivery against monthly, quarterly, and annual business goals.  

  • Manage executive contact with NBC staff, industry influencers, and strategic partners. 

  • Identify growth opportunities and strategies to meet company goals. 

  • Other duties as assigned 

Basic Requirements: 

  • College degree or equivalent experience  

  • Experience in a matrixed organization and collaborating across key cross-functional roles that can include Strategic Planning, Business Development, Content, Project and Product Management. 

  • 4+ years of experience in SAAS Sales & Account Management, and a track record as a leader, collaborator, and innovator 

  • Strong knowledge of the youth sport landscape inclusive of investment trends, industry leaders and seeing around strategic corners 

  • Previous experience in developing account review plans and presentations. 

  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to articulate clearly and effectively with senior level stakeholders 

  • Willingness to travel to engage prospects and partners 

  • Demonstrated ability to leverage market research tools and data to translate information into successful sales and business narratives 

  • Strong analytic, strategic problem-solving and decision-making skills; ability to break down complex problems and formulate strategic account management plans. 

  • A self-starter and problem solver, a team player 

Desired Characteristics: 

  • Proficiency with Salesforce, or similar CRM experience, is a plus 

Additional Requirements:

  • Must be willing to work in our Minneapolis office 

  • Willingness to travel and work on weekends with short notice  

  • Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week.
