Description
We are offering an opportunity for a Bookkeeper in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The role involves handling tasks related to account reconciliation, accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and other bookkeeping duties. You will be expected to use skills like Microsoft Excel, QuickBooks, and handling month-end close procedures. This role offers an determined duration, contract employment opportunity.
Responsibilities:
• Manage all aspects of bookkeeping for the organization
• Handle account reconciliation effectively and efficiently
• Oversee both accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Conduct bank reconciliations regularly
• Use software like Microsoft Excel and QuickBooks for various tasks
• Manage the process of closing accounts at the end of each month
• Handle payroll responsibilities, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
• Maintain accurate financial records and prepare clear and accurate reports for informational, auditing and operational use
• Ensure compliance with all internal processes
• Collaborate with the team to work on various accounting projects.
Requirements • Demonstrated proficiency in Account Reconciliation
• Extensive experience with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Strong skills in conducting Bank Reconciliations
• Proven knowledge and experience in Bookkeeping
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office software
• Experience with Month End Close activities
• Expertise in managing Payroll
• Proficiency in using QuickBooks software
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
