Aerotek 2nd Shift Industrial Paint Technician in Minneapolis, Minnesota

2nd shift Industrial Painter

4:15pm - 2;45am

Pay: $24/HR + $2 shift differential

Location: Blaine

Essential Job Duties:

  • Prime, paint and touchup frames and parts with power spray equipment

  • Inspect completed parts for quality

  • Loan and unload the paint line as needed: Parts are put on racks and ran through the booth

  • Responsible for the care, cleaning, and maintenance of booth, equipment

Requirements:

  • Can read English and interpret blue prints

  • Able to proficiently paint in a single assigned area

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED.

  • Basic reading skills. Must be able to follow directions.

  • Basic computer navigation and utilization skills.

  • Ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly.

  • Ability to use thinking and reasoning to solve a problem.

  • High attention to detail and self-motivation skills.

  • Dependability—being part of the Turfco team requires dependability—your team counts on you.

Physical demands and abilities

  • Regularly lift 30-50 pounds.

  • Regularly perform repetitive tasks.

  • Ability to stand for an extended period of time and move frequently.
