Description
We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Pricing Manager in the Manufacturing industry, located near Weatherford, Texas, United States. This role involves collecting, analyzing, and evaluating data on products, costs, and markets to support the development and presentation of appropriate price and bid strategy. You will be required to monitor and optimize pricing strategy through process control and variance analysis.
Responsibilities:
• Collect, analyze, and evaluate data on products, costs, and markets to support the development of pricing and bid strategy
• Monitor and optimize pricing strategy through process control and variance analysis
• Develop list price and quotation price analysis
• Establish and manage adherence to guidelines and delegation of pricing authority
• Lead effective price reviews on large opportunities with cross-functional divisional staff teams
• Perform annual review of all quotes as part of renewal process and modify prices to eliminate excessive discounting
• Provide management with monthly metrics on the Pricing Team Improvement Board including win/loss tracking, quote variance to guidelines, sell price trends, speed to quote, etc.
• Maintain product knowledge and regularly monitor industry pricing practices particularly for major competitors and distributors
• Determine appropriate list prices and discounts based on analysis of market climate and competition, product life cycle, and division versioning strategy
• Work with engineering team in defining customer economic value proposition and model value proposition segments to define pricing strategy on new product and new service launches.
Requirements
• Applicant must possess a minimum of 3 years professional experience in a similar role within the Manufacturing industry.
• Must have proven experience in Margins, Operations, and Market Pricing.
• Proficiency in using pricing tools and software is a must.
• Solid understanding of financial principles and concepts.
• Strong analytical skills for market analysis and pricing strategies.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and work under pressure.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite, particularly Excel for data analysis.
• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field is required.
• Familiarity with pricing regulations and legal guidelines in the manufacturing industry is a plus.
• Ability to present complex information in an understandable and compelling manner.
• Must demonstrate a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
