IQVIA INC Sr. Business Systems Analyst in MILWAUKEE, Wisconsin

JOB REQUIREMENTS: Sr. Business Systems Analyst, IQVIA Inc., Milwaukee, WI. Must telecommute (work from home) from anywhere in the U.S. and report electronically to Milwaukee, WI worksite. Formulate and define systems scope and objectives based on both user needs and a thorough understanding of business systems and requirements. Perform analysis of business and user needs, documentation of requirements (user stories) and translation into proper system requirement specifications. Create, document, and maintain UI Screen, data flow/activity diagrams, data mapping, business rules, edits/validation criteria, technical documents and other supporting documents as required using tools like Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Visio, Teams, SharePoint, and JIRA. Work with POs and Architects to define solutions to business problems. Work with POs for backlog grooming and user story review for assigned applications. Analyze and estimate backlog items and feature requirements. Lead Agile scrum ceremonies to manage the sprint backlog and execution by ensuring improved scrum team velocity. Write SQL statements and work with SQL, Oracle, and Big Data databases for analysis and validation of data. Slice and dice data to generate clean data for business consumption. Provide support to agile team during development and testing of functional specification and user stories. Mentor and guide less-experienced Business Systems Analysts, including performing goal setting and performance review meetings. Triage production issues. Salary Range: \$117,104 - \$176,300/year. Requires a Bachelor\'s or Master\'s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field or foreign equivalent. Requires five (5) years with a Bachelor\'s or three (3) years with a Master\'s progressively responsible business systems analysis experience to include (if Bachelor\'s five (5) years, if Master\'s three (3) years): utilizing the entire software development life cycle, including phases of systems analysis while considering the business implications of the application of technology to the current and future business environment; utilizing Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Teams, SharePoint, and JIRA; three (3) years (if Bachelor\'s or Master\'s): working on gathering, analyzing and interpreting business requirements into Epics, Features and user stories; utilizing agile methodologies; facilitating presentations, meetings and workshops; writing technical documentation of the systems and applications; writing SQL statements; utilizing SQL and Oracle databases to facilitate data extraction, analysis, and validation; working with cross functional and distributed teams with different time-zones; project and task management; and performing system testing (QA and UAT). Requires 20% US travel to attend meetings at IQVIA in Milwaukee, WI and business analysis workshops/meetings. Work 8am 4pm M-F (CST) with occasional weekend work for deployment days and ticket support. Must be on call based on teams\' deployment schedules.
