JOB REQUIREMENTS: Description Senior Planner Buyer Position Summary The Senior Planner Buyer plays a crucial role in making our customers successful by managing the procurement, fulfillment, & inventory processes within a product line. They are responsible for overseeing the planning, purchasing, and customer fulfillment activities to ensure the timely and cost-effective acquisition of materials and services. This role involves strategic planning, supplier negotiation, supplier quality, supplier relationships, logistics, purchasing, and inventory management to support the company\'s operational goals. Salary Range: The salary range provided is intended to display the value of the company\'s base pay compensation for all statewide locations across the United States. Salary is dependent on a multitude of factors, including but not limited to the physical worksite location, candidate\'s skill set, level of experience, education, and internal peer compensation comparisons. Eligibility: Candidates must be eligible to work in the United States without requiring company sponsorship to obtain or keep U.S. work authorization Responsibilities Procurement Management: Request quotations with suppliers. Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers to secure the best prices and quality. Develop and maintain relationships with key suppliers and vendors. Ensure suppliers ship their orders on time. Inventory Control: Monitor inventory levels to ensure optimal stock without overstocking. Implement inventory management strategies to reduce costs and improve efficiency. Planning and Scheduling: Create and manage production schedules to meet customer demand. Optimize fulfillment of customer demand through our warehouse network. Coordinate with various departments to align production plans with business objectives. Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analyses to evaluate cost-saving opportunities. Prepare budgets and forecasts related to procurement and inventory. Compliance and Reporting: Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and legal regulations. Prepare and present reports on procurement activities and performance metrics. Continuous Improvement: Participate in cross-functional projects to enhance supplier on time delivery and operational efficiency. Recommend improvements to procurement processes and systems. Source and negotiate with suppliers to secure high-quality materials at competitive prices. Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers to ensure a reliable supply chain.
