EMPLOYEE BENEFITS CORPORATION Reimbursement Specialist I in MILWAUKEE, Wisconsin
JOB REQUIREMENTS: Position Summary: Employee Benefits Corporation is hiring for a full time Reimbursement Specialist I. The Reimbursement Specialist I position is responsible for adjudicating and entering claims for all EBC products. The Reimbursement Specialist I receives workflow direction from the Reimbursement Manager. This person may work in our Middleton, WI office, fully remote (Wisconsin locations only), or a combination of the two depending on availability. Must be available for one day of onsite training and onboarding in person at our Middleton, WI office. Responsibilities Include: Adjudicate reimbursement requests for all EBC products to determine payment or denial according to current IRS and organizational processing procedures Process claims accurately under the appropriate account making demographic changes as needed Process basic tasks from other departments related to claims for all EBC products Maintain productivity and accuracy standards on a monthly basis Identify claims trends, errors, and problem claims and notify senior team member and/or Reimbursement Manager Conduct and record monthly team member audits and communicate all relevant issues of audit findings to the Reimbursement Manager Communicate clearly and accurately with customers (Internal and External), both verbally and in writing Safeguard confidentiality, privacy and security of organization and customer personal information Qualifications: High School Diploma One year experience working in a professional office setting Demonstrated attention to detail and adherence to productivity and accuracy standards Basic proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Outlook Minimum typing speed of 50 words for minute and 10-key speed of 9,500 per hour Preferred Qualifications: Previous claims processing experience Previous experience working with tax advantaged benefit plans Basic proficiency with Microsoft Word We offer: A friendly, collaborative team environment A competitive compensation and benefits package that includes employee-ownership Opportunities for personal and professional growth Flexible scheduling to encourage and support a healthy work-life balance More About Us: Employee Benefits Corporation administers a variety of employee benefits, from IRS-approved, tax-advantaged plans to COBRA and state-regulated continuation administration through informative education materials, dedicated reporting, creative plan design and expert customer support.
