JOHNSON CONTROLS INC Controls Lead Systems Specialist II in MILWAUKEE, Wisconsin
JOB REQUIREMENTS: Johnson Controls Inc. seeks Controls Lead Systems Specialist II at its facility located at 12000 W. Wirth St, Suite 102, Wauwatosa, WI 53222. JOB DESCRIPTION: Complete installation hardware design and software programming using established Johnson Controls standards. Effectively communicate design and sequence of operation details to customers, Johnson Controls staff, and subcontractors. Work on selection, ordering, budget, and delivery schedule of materials to be procured for the projects assigned via our Johnson controls web-based tool process. Provide jobsite coordination for panel and field device physical locations. Ensure installation is in accordance with Johnson Controls standards and project requirements. Complete the loading, device verification, and commissioning of all system controllers as required. Validate complete system functionality and resolve issues with subcontractors and others to ensure proper operation. Generate accurate project as built and commissioning documentation once testing is completed successfully. Provide technical assistance to System Technicians, Electrical Installers and System Designers. Perform site-specific training for owner/operator on the installed and commissioned system. Provide proper documentation and manuals for system operation. Ensure all Johnson Controls safety standards are followed while working onsite. REQUIREMENTS: This position requires a Bachelor\'s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field and Four (4) years of experience as an Application Engineer, Controls Systems Engineer, or related occupation in the building automation industry. Additionally, the applicant must have employment experience with: (1) Designing building control systems tailored to meet project requirements, encompassing HVAC, lighting, security, and other related systems; (2) Generating technical documents such as flow diagrams, sequence of operations, bill of materials, and electrical schematics; (3) Developing software programs to control and manage building systems, including programming controllers and interfaces; (4) Conducting commissioning procedures to verify the proper operation and functionality of building control systems; (5) Identifying and resolving technical issues or malfunctions in building control systems through systematic problem-solving approaches; (6) Assisting team members and stakeholders to address technical challenges and optimize project outcomes; and (7) Monitoring project budgets and financial performance to ensure profitability and adherence to financial targets & contract obligations.
