Description
We are seeking a meticulous and diligent individual to join our team in the role of Accounting Clerk. The job is located in Millville, New Jersey, and is within the telecom provider industry. This position offers a long term contract employment opportunity, where you will be handling various responsibilities related to customer credit applications and records.
Responsibilities:
• Accurately process customer credit applications in a timely manner
• Maintain and update customer credit records to ensure they are current and accurate
• Resolve customer credit inquiries professionally and promptly
• Monitor customer credit accounts regularly to identify any discrepancies
• Take appropriate action to collect delinquent payments from customers
• Utilize Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint to manage, analyze, and present data
• Generate client reports and create presentations as required
• Perform special projects and tasks as assigned by the management
• Leverage your university degree knowledge to improve processes and procedures
• Maintain a high level of attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
Requirements
• Associate or bachelor's degree preferably in accounting or related field required
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint
• Ability to create reports and present them in a clear and comprehensive manner
• Experience in client reporting is highly beneficial
• Willingness to perform special projects as assigned by the management
• No prior work experience required, however any experience in an accounting role would be an advantage
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
