In this context, we are looking for a highly motivated Silicon Design Engineer to help us to push the boundaries of the technology beyond standard micro controller components .
The ideal candidate is a Silicon Design Engineer with previous experience in design IC or ASIC with mixed digital and analog component in the audio space. Hearing-Aid experience as a must .
AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITIES AND RELATED ACTIVITIES
Design Custom IC : design custom IC for Audio based smart eyewear with hearing aid function with extreme low power profile, with beamforming and digital signal processing functions.
Define architecture of future Silicon product across category : identify the key element to architect a Silicon strategy across multiple family of product beyond Audio Glasses .
Signal processing techniques application : Develop and apply signal processing techniques to the data acquired on a large amount of subjects;
AI algorithms architect : define the strategy to integrate regular signal processing with machine learning components , maintaining hi power efficiency .
NETWORK OF INTERACTION
INTERNAL : The resource will interact with the project managers of the program and product manager of Smart Eyewear Team .
EXTERNAL : The resource will interact with suppliers to enable the production of the IC
TECHNICAL SKILLS - PORTRAIT OF A PERFECT CANDIDATE
Educational Background in Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, (Master Degree or better a PhD)
At least 5/10 years of experience in designing low power silicon components, better if integrated circuits
Knowledge on Digital Signal Processing for Hearing Aid is considered a plus.
Experience in writing specification to enable the production of silicon components.
Background in machine/deep learning techniques and algorithms (optimization algorithm, data fusion, digital signal processing).
Good knowledge of embedded system and firmware development.
Basic knowledge of electronic systems and sensors.
