Description
We are looking for a diligent Inventory Clerk for a role in Midland, Texas. The job function involves maintaining a robust inventory system, ensuring accurate documentation, and actively participating in inventory audits. The scope of the role spans across the warehousing and logistics industry, and the work environment is a dynamic warehouse setting.
Responsibilities:
• Accountable for inventory through a robust documentation process, ensuring procedure verification and system review.
• Actively participate in physical inventories and cycle counts, ensuring accuracy at all times.
• Analyze and correct cycle count and inventory discrepancies when possible.
• Audit incoming and outgoing documentation and transactions to maintain quality and accuracy.
• Compile and document all transactions for data entry, ensuring accurate records.
• Utilize inventory analysis skills to handle raw data and identify any potential issues.
• Collaborate with finance and accounting teams to ensure accurate material accounting.
• Utilize Warehouse Management System for efficient inventory management.
• Exhibit effective communication skills for interactions with company employees, suppliers, and customers.
• Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Suite, particularly Excel and Word, for inventory data analysis and documentation.
• Show willingness to learn new processes, suggest improvements, and interact with personnel in a local and global environment.
• Demonstrate the ability to work in a team, contributing to the overall success of the warehouse.
Requirements • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites including Microsoft Word and Excel
• Experience in inventory analysis and cycle count
• Knowledge of finance and accounting functions
• Background in warehouse management and shipping procedures
• Familiarity with materials handling and supplier management
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently
• Experience in auditing, review, and quality control processes
• Ability to work onsite as required
• Knowledge of NIS and other relevant inventory systems
• Proficiency in documentation and verification processes
• Experience with raw data analysis
• Familiarity with A Plus software will be considered as an advantage.
