JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
The Vehicle Registration Office at Penn State Harrisburg is accepting applications for part-time parking permit enforcement for the 2023-2024 Academic Year.
Job Duties
Patrol assigned areas of campus to identify parking violations.
Issue parking tickets and/or warnings.
Direct all violation recipients to the VRP office with disputes and/or complaints.
Provide information on parking regulations and available parking options.
General office duties including filing, organizing and minimal computer entries.
Assist office personnel with additional tasks as needed (i.e. verification of non-working kiosk machines, upkeep on Parking Gator, etc).
Direct pedestrians and vehicular traffic within parking lots during special events as requested.
Requirements and Qualifications
Employment with the University for this opening will require the operation of a motor vehicle as a part of the job duties. A valid US driver’s license and successful completion of a motor vehicle records check will be required in addition to standard background checks.
May require the ability to work in an outdoor environment in adverse weather conditions including extreme heat and cold.
