Description
Robert Half is partnering with a CPA firm near Middlesex County, New Jersey in the search of a part time Bookkeeper. This role involves maintaining financial records for our CPA firm, including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments. The Bookkeeper will also be responsible for assisting with administrative tasks and conducting relevant research.
Responsibilities:
• Utilize software tools such as QuickBooks, Excel, and other office tools effectively
• Conduct relevant research through IRS website and other relevant platforms
• Assist in administrative tasks including answering phones professionally and efficiently
• Handle posting checks, managing accounts receivables and payables, and sending out reports/invoices through office tools
• Record and maintain transactions accurately and timely
• Perform account reconciliation, bank reconciliations, and month-end close processes
• Manage bookkeeping duties, including data entry and maintaining balanced financial records
• Handle payroll processes using QuickBooks or other related software
• Ensure all financial processes adhere to company policies and financial regulations
Requirements • Proficiency in Account Reconciliation
• Expertise in managing Accounts Payable (AP)
• Skilled in handling Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Experience in conducting Bank Reconciliations
• Demonstrated ability in Bookkeeping
• Proficient in Data Entry tasks
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Familiarity with Month End Close procedures
• Experience in managing Payroll
• Proficiency in using QuickBooks software
