Aerotek Mechanical Assembler - 3rd Shift in MIAMI LAKES, Florida

Job Title: Mechanical Assembler

Job Description

As a Mechanical Assembler, you will perform complex tasks associated with the fabrication of medical components. You will assemble components according to approved standards and procedures, perform complex set-up and adjustments of manufacturing equipment, and conduct complex quality inspections of your own or others' work. You will be trained on multiple workstations, at least three of which are considered complex and/or critical. Your role also includes recording and completing all manufacturing documentation, gathering information and completing complex production reports, providing suggestions to improve quality, safety, output, and ergonomics, performing material transactions, working with engineers to produce custom parts following engineering protocols, and interacting with other functional groups such as quality to resolve issues. You are expected to perform job functions while walking and/or standing up to 100% of the time during a shift. Additionally, you are responsible for ensuring personal and company compliance with all Federal, State, local, and company regulations, policies, and procedures for Health, Safety, and Environmental compliance, as well as communicating business-related issues or opportunities to management.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in MIAMI LAKES, Florida.

Work Environment

You will work in a GMP and cleanroom environment where the company will provide the necessary Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). The area is climate-controlled. The work schedule is Sunday through Thursday, 3pm to 11pm on the 2nd shift. Orientation and training/shadowing will last a minimum of 3 months and will initially be conducted on the 1st shift for 1-2 days.
