Regis HR Group Rent Collection Specialist in Miami, Florida
Collections Specialist will assist in the collection of rents from residents at apartment communities. The Specialist will be responsible for collaborating with property management to contact and collect due rent from residents. Specialist will visit multiple properties daily and interact directly with the residents to minimize delinquency. This is a roving position that requires reliable transportation.
Responsibilities:
Maintain a rent ledger should including the tenant's name, property address, amount of rent due, date rent is due, date rent was paid, late fees (if applicable), total amount owed, method of payment and applicable notes/documents.
Responsible for delivering letters to residents to encourage payment of delinquent accounts.
Confer with residents in attempt to determine reason for overdue payment.
Produce report of status of collection efforts.
Attend evictions with eviction crews.
Understand and adhere to the guidelines in the resident's lease.
Adheres to federal and state Fair Housing Laws as well as all company policies.
Supports team in achieving the goals of the property.
Qualifications:
Strong attention to detail.
Position will require travel between properties located in Miami-Dade County and will be reimbursed.
