Aerotek A&P Avionics Technician in Miami, Florida

Job Duties :

  • Perform Line maintenance (on-call and scheduled) work on various customers' aircraft.

  • Perform routine maintenance and airworthiness releases (within the scope of approval) returning aircraft to service.

  • Responsible for servicing, inspecting, and maintaining aircraft, aircraft engines, and associated components; effectively performs work to meet deadlines and performance goals.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Must have a valid driver’s license.

  • Must pass airport security checks and travel for work as required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Current valid FAA Airframe & Powerplant License.

  • Familiar with avionic & electrical systems.

  • Able to read schematics and wiring diagrams.

  • Perform repairs per standard wiring practices.

  • Experienced in performing continuity and power checks using a Multimeter/Megohmmeter.

Pay Rates :

  • 1-3 years of experience: $33-35/hr

  • 3-5 years of experience: $36-38/hr

  • 5-7 years of experience: $39-41/hr

  • 8+ years of Boeing experience with Gen Fam courses: $42-44/hr
