    $36,178.71 - $44,709.69 Annually $1,391.49 - $1,719.60 Bi-weekly

    Position Summary

    This is a career service position located in the APD regional offices with primary responsibility for the review of new Adult Day Training (ADT) licensing applications and renewal applications, issuing of licenses, the ongoing monitoring of ADT licensed facilities and the tracking of all licensure and monitoring activities.

    The Work You Will Do

  • Receive new licensing application and review for completeness. Provide feedback to the applicant in writing for any errors, omissions or additional documentation required within 30 days of receipt of the licensing application.

  • Complete review of the application and approve or deny the application within 90 days of receipt of a complete application.

  • Conduct quarterly monitoring visit for each ADT using the ADT Monitoring Checklist.

  • Document violations and deficiencies and with appropriate corrective action.

  • Complete other related duties as assigned.

    Minimum Qualifications

  • High school diploma or its equivalent.

  • Valid Driver’s License or other efficient means of transportation to travel for work purposes.

  • Two (2) years’ experience with monitoring or conducting quality assurance activities.

    Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities

    Knowledge of:

  • Monitoring of facilities and or/conducting quality assurance activities.

  • And ability to use Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, etc.) and other required computer software applications.

    Ability to:

  • Travel for work purposes.

  • Review licensing requirements for completeness.

  • Ensure compliance with state rules and regulations.

  • Work independently or in a group.

  • Perform in a fast-paced, high volume work environment.

  • Communicate effectively, oral or written.

  • Plan, organize, prioritize, and coordinate work assignments with minimal supervision.

    Direct Deposit Program

    As a condition of employment, a person appointed to a position in the State Personnel System is required to participate in the Direct Deposit Program. Rather than receiving a paper paycheck, your funds will be deposited directly into your account at your financial institution. This will be accomplished by Electronic Funds Transfer. Banks, savings and loan associations, and credit unions are eligible to accept such deposits. Retirement funds are also required to be in the Direct Deposit Program.

    Background Screening Requirement

    It is the policy of the Florida Agency for Persons with Disabilities that applicants for employment undergo Level 2 employment screening in accordance with the requirements of Chapter 435, Florida Statutes, as a condition of employment or being permitted to serve as a volunteer.
