Robert Half Accounts Payable Clerk in Miami, Florida

Description We are seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in Miami, Florida. This role involves managing and processing high volume accounts payable, three-way matching, and reconciling statements within the Yacht Services industry. This role offers an exciting opportunity for an individual with a keen eye for detail and a strong understanding of the accounts payable process.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and process high volume accounts payable.

• Perform three-way match for invoice processing.

• Reconcile supplier statements and resolve any discrepancies.

• Record and maintain accurate information in the customer credit database.

• Monitor customer credit accounts for payment compliance.

• Resolve customer credit inquiries in a timely and professional manner.

• Work closely with the accounts team to ensure all financial data is accurate.

• Ensure all financial records are compliant with company policies and regulations.

• Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth financial operations.

• Utilize Accounts Payable (AP) skills to perform job duties effectively. Requirements • Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent education level.

• Proven experience in an Accounts Payable role or similar is desirable.

• Demonstrable proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) procedures and systems.

• Strong understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable principles.

• High degree of accuracy, attention to detail, and confidentiality.

• Excellent data entry skills along with a knack for numbers.

• Proficiency in English and in MS Office, particularly Excel.

• High degree of familiarity with accounting software and administration skills.

• Ability to process and follow-up on rush items.

• Capable of managing stress in a high-volume processing atmosphere.

• Must be a team player and able to meet strict deadlines.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to handle sensitive, complex, and confidential information with discretion.

• Demonstrable ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks and demands.
