Ford Motor Company Technical Project Manager in MEX, Mexico
These products include a Backstage based Internal Developer Portal, several DevSecOps pipelines offerings (Jenkins, Tekton, and GitHub Actions), and various Cloud Native services, components, and libraries that support our Dev Enablement ecosystem. The successful candidate should be capable of working collaboratively as part of an Agile software engineering team and should be able to lead a team of software engineering professionals. They will also be able to lead the planning, work, monitoring, status (progress reports to executive management) and delivery for critical software products, insuring they meet the needs of the internal customers that Dev Enablement serves.
Perform people leader role for a team of 4 to 6 software professionals.
Lead the planning and tracking of delivery of enhancements, features, and capabilities in several software products and our Internal Developer Portal product.
Lead efforts to stand up this new team and the onboarding and knowledge transfer activities that will be required of the team to take ownership of some key products in our Dev Enablement organization.
Work with stakeholders and customers of our products to ensure expectations and requirements are met.
Develop a sustainable support model for our products that require a 24x7 support.
Collaborate with other Dev Enablement teams on strategy, vision, and roadmaps of our key products.
Coordinate, build, monitor, and maintain a repeatable delivery process.
Plan, implement, and monitor software delivery projects and activities.
Identify and resolve issues with our products and provide technical support to our customers.
Conduct Office Hours, Forums, Awareness and Working sessions for customers and partners of the products and platforms we own.
Innovate and iterate on PM processes and share the learnings.

Skills:
Strong Leadership skills and ability to manage a team of software professionals.
Must have excellent planning and communication skills, flexibility to accommodate working across different time zones and sensitivity to cultural and geographical differences.
Strong analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Proficient knowledge and use of Backlog tools, such as Jira or Rally.
Ability to work collaboratively with others and navigate complex decision-making scenarios.
Experience with delivery of Software and the software development lifecycle.
Qualifications Required:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in computer science or related disciplines.
5+ years of project management and agile/scrum experience in IT.
Exposure to Software Development methodologies, Quality Assurance, and Security & Control procedures.
