About the job:

  1. To offer guests an enjoyable and expertly served dining experience conforming to Jumeirah standards.

  2. To offer quick, correct, precise and friendly service that is respectful and accommodating of the guest's requests of selections and timeliness of service.

  3. To coordinate with the kitchen for smooth service.

  4. To record all guest charges, gratuities and cash transactions accurately.

  5. To maintain a Room Service control sheet time to time, so the Room Service Manager knows when an order was taken, delivered and retrieved and by whom.

  6. To set up orders on trays and tables and transport them to guest floors and rooms.

  7. To complete opening and closing check list and side task-work as assigned.

  8. To maintain a good working relationship with other colleagues.

  9. To respond properly in any hotel emergency or safety situation.

  10. To maintain and retrieve all food items from the kitchen and attractively, safely transport them to the Private Dining area and place them in a hot box.

  11. To stock linen, China, silver and glassware for service.

  12. Equal responsible for minibar operation within room dining Standard.

  13. To handle folding tables adequately and safely.

  14. To handle dirty linen appropriately and also have basic knowledge about linen inventory.

  15. To be able to identify possible problems and ask for help before a breakdown occurs.

  16. To inform the manager or assistant of all customer complaints and makes appropriate efforts to correct the problem.

  17. To provide lateral service in the hotel when needed.

Qualifications and Experience Required:

  1. Bachelor's Degree or equivalent.

  2. Should have over one to Two years of experience in similar position.

  3. Work in a multicultural environment.

  4. Able to handle multiple tasks.

  5. Should be able to work under pressure in a customer service.

  6. Well versed English communication and writing skills.
