The Lifecycle Support Solutions (LCSS) Product Line within the Electronic Combat Solutions Business Area is a rapidly growing business that has an immediate need for a Contracts Manager to support the F-35 Lifecycle Product Support (LCPS) business. LCSS supports the long-term needs of our worldwide customers utilizing BAE Systems Electronic Warfare (EW) products. LCSS s customers include multiple branches of the US armed forces across a diverse portfolio of platforms. LCSS also supports an array of Foreign Military Sales (FMS) customers. LCPS supports the worldwide deployment of the F-35 Lightning II Joint Strike Fighter, the U.S. Department of Defense s largest single acquisition program. LCPS is a dynamic and growing business area within the LCSS Product Line with a mix of classified and unclassified programs and contracts with both Lockheed Martin Aerospace and the US Government.

The Duties will include, but not limited to:

Provide leadership and guidance for Contract Administrators, overseeing and directing daily contractual activities, providing guidance on contractual/business issues, and assisting in preparing proposals, completing negotiations and drafting of contract terms.

Independently lead and manage proposal activities including, analysis of solicitations, developing strategies and recommendations, preparing terms and conditions, reviewing the technical and pricing proposals for accuracy and consistency and conducting business risk assessment. Leads and supports fact-finding and other audit activities.

Lead complex negotiations with an emphasis on implementing a strategy that creates a win/win situation.

Advise LCSS management of contractual rights and obligations, risk mitigation alternatives and business strategy. Ensuring that all contractual arrangements offer the Company a reasonable probability of accomplishing the business objectives.

Foster and maintain relationships with counterparts within the customer organization and between all functions within BAE Systems.

Oversee management of multiple contract types, such as Firm-Fixed-Price, Cost-Plus-Fixed-Fee, Cost-Plus-Incentive-Fee, and Time and Materials.

Maintain an in-depth knowledge and working understanding of the U.S. Government acquisition and procurement environment, Lockheed Martin Corporate Documents/contracts, export and FAR/DFAR regulations.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

College degree and 8 years of relevant experience.

Strong written and verbal skills.

Ability to work effectively both independently and as a team member.

Ability to make decisions and close actions.

FAR/DFAR knowledge and experience.

Experience with agreements other than contracts (ex. NDAs, bailment agreements, and/or software license agreements).

Existing security clearance or ability to obtain a security clearance.

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

Prior experience managing a staff is desired.

Familiarity with Performance Based Contracts is a plus.

Experience with Foreign Military Sales is a plus.

Active security clearance desired. This position requires the ability to obtain a Secret clearance.

Pursuant to a specific US Government contract, selected candidate must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident.

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $113080 - $192280

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
