Pilgrim Road employees produce engines and transmissions for the final assembly plant in York, Pennsylvania, as well as transmissions, and replacement parts for sale through Harley-Davidson Genuine Motor Parts and Accessories business. Job Summary The General Manger is responsible for the management of the entire manufacturing facility, any related 3rd party support operations and all related resources and budgets. Key responsibilities include proper utilization of facilities, materials, machines, and manpower to serve the customers, eliminate waste, and develop associates. Accountable for driving world class manufacturing performance using operational excellence and lean methodologies on all safety, quality, delivery, cost, people, and sustainability measures. Serves as the interface between the site leadership team, operations staff, engineering, program management and customers. Directs continuous improvement activities and coordinates the development of the facility\'s people, processes, and capabilities. This leader will establish and consistently deliver industry-leading performance through best-in-class safety, quality and a culture of pride in craftsmanship that makes H-D the most desirable place to work while making it the benchmark for others in the industry to model. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Directs the planning and utilization of lean tools (Continuous Improvement System) to improve all areas of the operation. Facilitates teams and insures all improvements are sustained, and better ways continuously identified. Participates in long-range plant expansion, conversion, and equipment planning through the development of a 5-year factory master plan. Oversees the maintenance of buildings and equipment....
