Advanced Blending Solutions LLC of Wallace, MI is looking to hire a full-time Machine Builder to join our production team. Pay for this production position starts at $18-$20 per hour. *A DAY IN THE LIFE AS A MACHINE BUILDER *

As a Machine Builder, you will work in a clean, comfortable environment as you fit together parts and components to build our blending and conveying equipment. Attention to detail is key while you read blueprints, study assembly instructions, gather parts, tools, and materials. Quality is critical for our equipment, so you will inspect finished products to verify measurements, determine any need for adjustment, and ensure proper operation. Problem solving is a key skill to resolve assembly problems by altering dimensions to meet requirements. Forklift operation and basic maintenance will be a part of your daily tasks to move equipment to/from other departments.

*QUALIFICATIONS FOR A MACHINE BUILDER *

  • Utilize power tools and various equipment as needed to perform duties
  • Knowledge of measuring equipment including micrometers, calipers, and tape measures
  • Read and interpret blueprints
  • Complete training to become forklift certified within 30 days
  • Lift up to 25 pounds frequently, 50 pounds occasionally
  • High school diploma or equivalent required

The typical schedule for this full-time 1st shift position is Monday - Thursday from 5:00 am to 2:30 pm and Friday from 5:00 am - 9:00 a.m. with weekends free!
