MAGNIFI FINANCIAL CREDIT UNION Indirect Loan Support Specialist I (20-28 hrs/week) in Melrose, Minnesota

POSITION SUMMARY Responsible for performing administrative duties related to indirect lending. Processes and funds indirect loans according to Magnifi Financial Credit Union policies, procedures, and state and federal regulations. Provides backup assistance to the indirect lending staff. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Processes and funds indirect loan packages from dealerships according to Magnifi Financial s policies, procedures, and state and federal regulations. Executes the fulfillment of loan tasks acquired through the indirect dealership channel, ensuring accuracy of indirect loan documents and compliance with program requirements. Responsible for lien tracking including: lien follow-up and resolution to obtain proof that Magnifi Financial is lienholder for missing lien cards, and maintaining lien records for consumer secured loans. Responsible for printing lien releases, completing them, and mailing them to dealers or borrowers. Responsible for dealer loan file processing, ensuring that all required documentation has been completed and received from the dealership before funding. Enters all loan documentation, ensuring that it is accurately entered into the lending system. Responsible for monitoring and responding to dealer correspondence on correction notices to obtain missing information needing to fund a loan or answering questions from dealers. Assists with the daily funding of loans. Sends welcome letters to indirect borrowers or members. Sends adverse action letters to indirect borrowers or members. Sends Risk Based Pricing notices or other correspondence as needed. Scans loan documents as needed. Keeps abreast of rules, regulations and Magnifi Financial Credit Union policy relating to indirect loans. Actively participates in community relations efforts to contribute to the mission and visibility of Magnifi Financial.
