Description

We are in search of a Senior Accountant to join our team in Melbourne, Florida. This role involves managing key performance indicators, analyzing and evaluating financial results, as well as assisting in the monthly management reporting package. The job function is in the telecom industry, providing an opportunity to contribute to a dynamic and evolving field.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze monthly results and provide actionable recommendations to senior management to ensure financial goals are met.

• Assist in the preparation of company financial statements on a monthly basis.

• Aid in the preparation of annual department budget and company consolidated budgets; develop and update forecasts as required.

• Responsible for reconciling balance accounts and preparing monthly account analysis; research and resolve reconciliation differences.

• Oversee month-end close activities; posting and reviewing journal entries as required.

• Manage Fixed Asset and capital appropriations for multiple facilities.

• Develop dashboards to monitor KPIs and other management tools to drive efficiencies and business growth.

• Carry out any other related duties as assigned.

Requirements • Must hold a minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior accountant role or similar position.

• Proficiency in Balance Sheet Reconciliation, General Ledger management, and Journal Entries is required.

• Strong skills in Microsoft Excel are essential for data analysis and reporting.

• Experience with Month End Close procedures is necessary.

• Must be knowledgeable in using SAP for financial operations and management.

• Experience in KPI Reporting, with the ability to analyze and present complex financial data.

• A relevant degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is highly desirable.

• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and accuracy are crucial.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.

• Must have the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

• Must be able to handle multiple tasks and prioritize work efficiently.

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions based on accurate and timely analyses are necessary.

• High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.

• Professional certification such as CPA or CMA is highly desirable.
