The Ritz-Carlton, Melbourne is looking for a standout Assistant Restaurant Manager to join one of Melbourne’s newest iconic dining venues, Atria, on a Full-Time Basis. This is your opportunity to join the newly Hatted Atria Restaurant in a senior leadership role.

The restaurant which is located on level 80 overlooking Melbourne. Working alongside likeminded industry professionals with a diverse range of Michelin & Hated backgrounds.

We're looking for a professional with management experience. Hatted/Michelin' restaurant or establishments of a similar standing.

The Assistant Restaurant Manager is a visible, energetic, and ethical leader who develops, maintains, and promotes a management philosophy that culminates in guest satisfaction and employee engagement, while consistently achieving annual and long term financial and strategic plans supporting our Senior Restaurant Manager and venue leadership team.

*Position Summary: *

  • Responsible to support manage the Atria Restaurant operations, ensuring associates are providing service excellence with each customer experience.

  • Be an empowering leader by providing motivation and support to your department’s Ladies and Gentlemen.

  • Plan and execute team building activities for our associates as they are our most important assets.

  • Ensure the restaurant is consistently prepared and always stocked through ordering and adequate planning.

  • Assist with leading the food and beverage department with operational tasks, strategies and team building initiatives. 

  • Be the a point of contact for external & internal clients for the Food and Beverage department

  • Ensure you and the team uphold all company policies and procedures whilst demonstrating the the hotel core values

  • Build and strengthen relationships with existing and new guests, exhibiting our legendary service and enabling future bookings

  • Prepare and conduct department training to enhance overall service quality.

  • An up-to-date RSA 

  • Relevant experience in a managerial role 

  • Enthusiastic to escalate your career. 

  • Self-motivated, driven and energized in a fast-paced environment.
