Department of Labor and Economic Opportunity Farmworkers and Laborers, Crop, Nursery, and Greenhouse in Medina, Michigan
Need (3) Farmworkers to prepare the fields and greenhouse for planting and harvesting, lift/move crates weighing 50lbs. Packaging will include moving harvested flowers to barn and greenhouse and placing flowers into cooler, pulling cut flowers out of cooler, washing buckets, bundling, wrapping, re-packing, and loading on to truck for delivery. Workers will plant, water, harvest and pack cut flowers. Workers may be required to perform variable tasks such as the following: Irrigation, ditching, shoveling, hoeing, hauling, mowing and other tasks related to general farming. May assist with general farm building and grounds maintenance and operate tractors, mowers and weed eaters. The work will occur in Medina County, Ohio.

Work schedule is generally 47.5 hours per week, Monday through Saturday. Additional hours may be offered but not required.

Employer provides housing at no cost to workers who are not reasonably able to return same day to their residence. Separate sleeping rooms and bathroom facilities are designated for male and female workers. Family housing not available.
