In partnership with your team, you will effectively manage candidates through the recruiting and selection process, provide consulting and guidance to our Talent Acquisition teams and participate in projects that enhance the recruiting experience.

As a Talent Acquisition Sr Manager, you will create strong internal business partner relationships to meet our hiring goals and be their trusted partner and advisor for all things talent acquisition. You will have a passion for keeping abreast of trends and innovative recruiting techniques in order to remain competitive and deliver a world-class experience to our partners and candidates. You will think differently about your craft and care deeply about people and have a passion for developing team members and ensuring their success. In this role, you and your team (in conjunction with the broader recruiting team) will design and implement recruiting strategies to attract top talent for critical growth businesses at Capital One.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of experienced, high performing recruiters. Create a culture of inspiration, empowerment and inclusion. Invest in and elevate your team to greatness

  • Partner with hiring managers, business leaders, and key stakeholders to understand and deliver unique talent needs while keeping all parties apprised along the journey. Become a deep subject matter expert within your business partner group

  • Leverage data and metrics to conduct analysis on talent markets and our delivery to better support our teams, business partners, and candidates

Basic Qualifications

  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent certification

  • At least 5 years of experience in recruiting, human resources, or client consulting OR a combination of the three

  • At least 4 years of experience in Client Management

  • At least 2 years of people management experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Professional Human Resources (PHR) certification or Senior Professional Human Resources (SPHR) certification

  • 7+ years of experience in HR strategy or 7+ years of experience in Talent Acquisition or a combination

  • 7+ years of experience in Client Management

  • 5+ years of experience in People Management

  • 2+ years of experience with data analytics and reporting tools (i.e. excel, Tableau)

  • 3+ years experience in strategic development
