Description
We are working with a client near Darlington-Hartsville area in South Carolina on an Accounting Supervisor role. In this Accounting Supervisor role you will be responsible for the supervision and general control of the general accounting activity to include month-end close, accounts payable, payroll, fixed assets, analytics and ad-hoc reporting. The Accounting Supervisor needs to be experienced, goal-oriented, and career-focused. While this person will have the support of manager, the successful Accounting Supervisor will be self-managed and will thrive in a fast-paced environment. Candidates should have supervisory experience as well as solid understanding of generally accepted accounting principles, 4+ years of progressive experience and bachelor’s degree in accounting is required and strong ERP (preferably with SAP) and Microsoft Excel experience is a must-have. This is an on-site role and the client is able to assist with relocation support. This role is bonus eligible and the client has great benefits.

Requirements
• Ideally a minimum of 4+ years of experience in a similar Accounting Supervisor role within the manufacturing industry
• Ideally seeking SAP software experience
*Strong knowledge of general ledger functions, including account reconciliation and journal entries
• Experience in handling fixed and capital assets, including depreciation, month-end close processes
• Familiarity with Accounts Payable (AP) processes and in payroll process management
• Supervisory experience is mandator5
