DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a talented Customer Service Rep to join our team specializing in Supply Chain Planning for Cummins Inc. in Maxton, NC.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

  1. Strategic Planning System Development : By developing planning system strategies, you’ll enhance signal accuracy across the supply chain, ensuring efficient and effective operations.

  2. Utilization of Tools and Systems : Using common processes, tools, and information systems will standardize operations, leading to more consistent and reliable outcomes.

  3. KPI Analysis and Improvement : Analyzing and interpreting Key Performance Indicators will help you identify areas for improvement and create actionable plans to enhance performance.

  4. Operational Planning Execution : Executing the daily operational planning process within your functional area will ensure smooth and efficient day-to-day operations.

  5. Risk Mitigation : Identifying potential supply chain failures and mitigating associated risks will help maintain supply chain integrity and prevent disruptions.

  6. Collaboration and Process Improvement : Working closely with stakeholders to develop short-term tactical improvements and participating in functional process improvement teams will drive continuous improvement and innovation within the supply chain.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education/Experience

  • College, university, or equivalent degree required.

  • This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.

Experience:

  • Minimal to intermediate level of experience required

Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.

  • Experience with Oracle and SAP systems.

  • Strong customer service skills with a professional demeanor.

  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.

  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Previous experience in Customer Service or account management

Certifications:

  • APICS certification would be bonus, but not required

  • CCSP certification from the CSIA would be bonus, but not required
