Mason City Community School District Paraprofessionals / Special Education - District-wide Openings in Mason City, Iowa
PARAPROFESSIONALS / SPECIAL EDUCATION
Paraprofessionals are responsible for assisting, supporting, working closely with: (1) teachers and other team members in providing educational support in the classroom, and (2) with students at the direction of the classroom teachers(s).
Full time, 7 hr/day, 9-month positions available at all buildings for the 2024-2025 school year:
- Early Childhood Special Education and PreK - Harding Elementary
- Elementary buildings: Kindergarten - 4th Grade
- Lincoln Intermediate: Grades 5-6
- John Adams Middle School: Grades 7-8
- Mason City High School: Grades 9-12
- Pinecrest Center: Grades K-12
Note: Pinecrest Center serves students whose primary disability is in the area of behaviors. Our mission is to provide a safe, supportive community where all students learn academic and behavior skills that prepare them to become successful, productive community members in a changing world.
- Pinecrest Center Paras start at $16.93/hr (internal transfers would add $1.00/hr to current hourly wage)
- Paras at all other buildings start at $15.93/hr
