Honda Development & Manufacturing of America, LLC Manufacturing Equipment Senior Engineer in Marysville, Ohio
Design and develop equipment countermeasures to address Safety, Quality, and Delivery characteristics, and serve as project leader for mechanical design, planning, budget preparation, status reporting, scheduling, and management proposals in the Engineering Business Unit, Weld Department. Work on job process engineering, development, and verification of mechanical designs and develop and lead assigned equipment improvement projects. Perform product development activities, including drawing board layout and interpretation, as well as implementation of customer specifications and documentation requirements. Provide existing product line support in design activities and modification of hardware in production, perform equipment analysis, and develop improvement and countermeasure activities. Mentor entry-level engineers and work on engineering team development.
Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Automotive Engineering or Mechanical Engineering; 18 months of relevant of professional experience; 18 months experience with drawing creation and modeling using CATIA V5 Modeling software; 18 months experience with drawing creation and modeling using AutoCAD Design software; 18 months experience with data collection and analysis, presentations and documentation using MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); and 18 months hands on experience with mechanical systems, including mechanical assembly and adjustments.
