You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet quality standards. The ideal candidate will have strong project management skills, technical expertise, and a passion for driving successful project outcomes. Here you will make an impact by:Manage and oversee engineering projects from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to project scope, timeline, and budget.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, procurement, and construction, to develop project plans and schedules.Conduct feasibility studies and cost-benefit analyses to evaluate project viability and provide recommendations.Coordinate and communicate with stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and vendors, to ensure project requirements are met.Monitor project progress, identify potential risks and issues, and develop mitigation strategies to keep projects on track.Conduct regular project meetings to provide updates, address concerns, and ensure alignment among team members.Review and approve engineering designs, specifications, and drawings to ensure compliance with project requirements and industry standards.Manage project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and project reports.Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor construction progress and ensure compliance with design specifications and safety regulations.Collaborate with the procurement team to source and procure materials and equipment required for project execution.Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and customer expectations.Participate in lessons learned sessions and contribute to the development of best practices and process improvements.Your Skills and ExpertiseTo set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:Bachelors degree (completed and verified prior to start) in engineering from an accredited institutionThree (3) years of project engineering experience in a private, public, government or military environmentAdditional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:Three (3 ) years of experience in manufacturingExperience in Capital equipment and/or Facilities project managementStrong project management skills, including the ability to develop project plans, manage resources, and track progressTechnical expertise in engineering principles, design, and constructionExcellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholdersStrong problem-solving and analytical skills to identify and address project issues and risksDetail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and qualityProficient in project management software and toolsKnowledge of industry standards and regulationsAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneouslyStrong leader hip skills and the ability to motivate and guide project teamsWork Location:Plant/Facility: Various Locations within the USTravel: May include up to 10% domesticRelocation Assistance: May be authorizedMust be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).Supporting Your Well-being3M offers many programs to help you live your best life both physically and financially.
