Actalent Automation Technician in Maple Grove, Minnesota
Job Title: Automation TechnicianJob Description
As an Automation Technician, you will work with CAD drawings, blueprints, and schematics to build and commission custom packaging equipment, including hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems. Your focus will be on the mechanical aspects of machines and wiring of controls and controlled systems. Post-contract, you may be required to travel (worldwide) to install new equipment at the customer's facility or service equipment already in operation.
Hard Skills
Proficiency with CAD drawings, blueprints, and schematics
Experience with hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems
Knowledge in mechanical aspects of machines and wiring of controls and controlled systems
Experience with automated equipment
Proficiency with PLC

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).
Work Site
This is a fully on-site position in Maple Grove, Minnesota.
Work Environment
We boast a team-oriented environment with approximately 100 dedicated employees. We seek go-getters who are self-directed, motivated, and excellent problem solvers. We offer 1/2 day Fridays and a company-wide shutdown during the week of the 4th.
