Job Title: Quality Inspector
Job Description
The Quality Inspector must ensure product reworks, repairs, upgrades, and restocks are handled with a high focus on customer satisfaction. This role requires maintaining a consistent workflow, a high level of accuracy, and an organized work environment while avoiding process bottlenecks. The Quality Inspector will manage the rework workflow of suppliers and production technicians, ensuring their commitments are honored. Additionally, they will ensure customer product FAI reports are accurate and complete, and organize the FAI documentation files in an easily retrievable manner.
Responsibilities
Serve as the customer-facing representative coordinating all DMRs (Discrepant Material Reports).
Handle RMAs (Returned Material Authorizations) for customer products previously shipped and returned for rework.
Manage FAIs (First Article Inspection reports) ensuring each product's drawing notes, materials, dimensions, BOM items, functionality, and process are verified.
Process PCNs (Part Change Notifications) to alert customers to product changes.
Schedule and manage OSTR Activities (On-Site Technical Representative appointments).
Perform other quality department activities as assigned.
Utilize the company’s ERP software (M2M), customer web-based portal, and various other software tools under company policies and procedures.
Essential Skills
2+ years of recent experience in a quality role within the semiconductor equipment manufacturing industry or a related industry.
Experience with First Article Inspection.
Experience with RMA (Return Material Authorization).
Experience with DMRs (Discrepant Material Reports).
Experience with PCNs (Part Change Notifications).
Experience with OSTR Activities (On-Site Technical Representative duties).
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in the semiconductor industry from companies such as AMAT (Applied Materials), UCT, Paradigm Manufacturing, Cortec Precision, Cypress, etc.

Work Environment
Work in a climate-controlled manufacturing environment. The standard shift is 6 am to 2:30 pm, with possible overtime that is voluntary. Once trained, there is some flexibility with the shift start time as long as a consistent schedule is maintained.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Manor, Texas.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.50/hr.
