Manager Internal Control System (m/f/d)

Location: Mannheim

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the design and development of the internal control system.

  • Supervision of certain legal entities and regions with regard to the monitoring and implementation of relevant controls.

  • Process optimization and efficiency improvement of existing processes as well as the establishment of new control standards.

  • Monitoring of the risk landscape and appropriate integration into the existing internal control system.

  • Identification of company-specific risks and development of appropriate mitigation measures.

  • Independent evaluation of control documentation and identification of areas for improvement.

  • Provide training on the internal control system and disseminate best practices.

    Requirements

  • University degree in economics or equivalent (ideally a Master's degree).

  • Relevant professional experience in an industrial or consulting company is an advantage.

  • Profound knowledge of internal control and compliance systems and their application and review.

  • Strong initiative and ability to identify and drive improvement opportunities.

  • Understanding of processes and ability to analyze them holistically.

  • Strong analytical and conceptual skills, as well as a structured and independent way of working.

  • Excellent verbal and written English skills.

  • Very good MS Office skills, especially Excel; SAP skills a plus.

  • Excellent communication skills and assertiveness.

  • Willingness to undertake occasional domestic and international business travel.
