Fujitsu Senior NetScaler Engineer in Manila, Philippines
Role Purpose
To participate in a team of customer focused engineers providing overall management, control and optimization of network infrastructure with the aim of continuous service improvement and high customer satisfaction.
To support a set of network technologies in accordance to Fujitsu standards, ensuring service levels are maintained and exceed delivery of IT service experienced by end users where possible.
To liaise with customers ensuring their requirements are understood with improvements and efficiencies identified.
To continuously improve troubleshooting skills and the mastery of fault diagnostic tools used in the support and maintenance of network systems.
Key Responsibilities
Provide day to day Citrix NetScaler SDX / VPX support.
Provide day to day network support on Cisco ACI and firepower
Configure and Manage Citrix NetScaler SDX / VPX / Citrix ACI and firepower
Handle incidents on case-by-case basis.
Coordinate with OEM and vendor for any issues.
Participate in RCA of high priority incidents.
Responsible for upgrading firmware of NetScaler and Cisco devices as per vendor recommendations.
Create/Amend/Edit/Delete Custom Configuration related to virtual server, certificate, Policy settings, etc.
Handle incident cases based on ITIL process.
Handle Service and Change requests as per ITIL process.
Produce accurate, concise and timely reports, as required.
Knowledge of and adherence to customer SLAs.
Provide on-the-job training, guidance and assistance to less experienced network engineers to ensure overall competence in the company continuously improve.
Development and maintenance of documentation needed to support customers, internal Fujitsu processes and standards.
Participate in after hours on-call roster to support infrastructure services customers.
Compliance to Fujitsu internal policies, processes and guidelines.
Experience and Technical
Minimum 4 yrs. of relevant experience in Citrix NetScaler
Relevant industry experience in Cisco routing / switching and firewall management.
Must have:
Expertise in troubleshooting NetScaler VPX / SDX HA, Content switching, access gateway, SSL VPN, related issues.
Knowledge of routing / switching and firewalls. ACI preferrable.
Knowledge of Installing NetScaler, upgrading firmware, configuring HA, GSLB, access gateway, etc.
Certification in Citrix NetScaler is preferred
Certification in Cisco – CCNA / CCNP level.
