We are currently recruiting foraDesktop Support Technicianto join our Technology and Business Solutions team. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic and will support a variety of technologies, tasks, and support requests based on business needs.

Candidates who are residents of VT are eligible to enjoy ahybrid workarrangement, working onsite from our office in Manchester Center, Vermont, three days per week and at home. All candidates must be within a commutable distance to, and available to work from, our office in Manchester Center.

Key Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot and resolve end-user issues.
• Train end users on our technical systems and applications.
• Administer user accounts, user groups, and file permissions in a Windows Active Directory environment
• Solve computer problems such as slow performance, VPN issues, e-mail problems, software installation and configuration
• Provide off-hours, rotating, on call support
• Travel between our locations in southern Vermont as needed to provide on-site assistance

• Someone who can effectively communicate technical information to non-technical users.
• The ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks.
• A disciplined, well organized, and trustworthy team member.
• Strong time management, organizational, and documentation skills

Desirable But Not Required:

• Associates or technical degree
• Experience with OSX
• Experience with retail Point of Sale systems
• Certifications such as CompTIA A+
