KL Lemmon and Son Hay and Straw LLC has an opening for a Farmer Laborer position. The duties of this position include but are not limited to operating large farm machinery, planting and harvesting crops, loading and delivering trucks, routine maintenance of farm machinery, feeding and caring for turkeys, including diagnosing and treating sick animals, assisting with birthing animals, routine daily chores on the farm. Attend to animals produced for animal products. Duties may also include feeding, watering, herding, grazing, castrating, weighing, catching, and loading animals. May maintain records on animals; examine animals to detect diseases and injuries; and administer medications, vaccinations, or insecticides as appropriate. May clean and maintain animal housing areas. Starting salary is $39,749. 40 hours per week; hours may vary. 2 years experience required.
