From FP&A partners to our accounts payable teams, our finance and accounting department is responsible for providing high-quality services to our internal partners, business leads and external suppliers. Our Finance and Accounting department is instrumental in supporting our business with the information it needs to make strategic decisions enabling us to do what we do best.
We are seeking an Operations Financial Analyst for our manufacturing sites in EMEA to provide support to the operations leadership team. Using your financial expertise, you will drive financial planning & analysis to improve decision making and ensure financial policies and controls are adhered to helping to drive the growth and success of the company.
You will be the lead finance analyst in a close-knit team of 5 reporting to the finance accounting manager that values collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning. If you thrive in a supportive and dynamic work environment, this is the job for you!
What To Expect:
Lead continuous improvement on internal processes and reporting
Support the business on leading capital expenditure proposals to ensure profitable business decisions are made
Provide financial support on value improvement projects to help achieve year on year standard cost reductions
Partner with GL Accounting and Commercial FP&A to ensure month end tasks and deadlines are adhered to
SOX reporting for the entities in scope, ensuring SOX narratives are up to date and evidence of performance of controls is maintained
Lead the quarterly forecasts, annual budget and 5 year strat plan process to set fair and challenging targets for the leadership team
Annual standard cost setting process: Calculations of updated material cost and labour & overhead rates
Review monthly manufacturing variances to explain site performance and be the finance lead in presenting operations PnL metrics to senior leadership in monthly plant reviews.
What we expect:
Knowledge of finance manufacturing operations including understanding of manufacturing variances (Absorption, WOV, PPV)
Knowledge of inventory cost accounting and standard cost valuation
Highly proficient in excel with past experience in dealing with financial models and analysis with the ability to work through high volumes of data
Ability to challenge the status quo, having the courage to constructively challenge to improve the business.
Proven business partnering experience with the ability to challenge and influence business leaders
Resilience, the ability to deal with ambiguity and uncertainty coupled with the ability to deal with issues that don’t always go to plan.
Adaptability, able to respond to changing needs of the business with the right drive and determination
