Micron is seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as a Senior FMEA Site Coordinator. As a key member of the Automotive Standards Team at Fab6 in Manassas, VA, USA, you will play a vital role in driving Risk-based Thinking and ensuring the effective implementation of Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA), a key Quality Management System (QMS) tool. Your work will be instrumental in helping Fab6 be the Automotive Center of Excellence for Micron.

Responsibilities and Tasks:

  • Drive compliance with FMEA standards and business rules

  • Lead the FMEA review process to accommodate the large number of documents and the technological complexity of Fab6

  • Champion gap analysis against new standards and customer special requirements

  • Develop and implement a risk reduction strategy tailored to Fab6's mission

  • Provide regular updates to site leadership on changes and site performance progress

  • Support internal and external audit programs by sharing lessons learned across sites

  • Manage FMEA system and compliance automation reporting tools

  • Provide training to FMEA user teams

  • Work as an interface between the Fab team and Global Quality Management Office for appropriate rollout of new standard changes

Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge and experience in FMEA methodology and implementation

  • Familiarity with Quality Management Systems and their interaction with other business processes

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills

  • Demonstrated experience in guiding and instructing others in FMEA methodologies and techniques

  • Knowledge of Six Sigma concepts (preferred but not required)

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Proficient in Root Cause Analysis

  • Knowledge of the 8D Process is preferred

  • Familiarity with AIAG Standard 4th Edition and AIAG-VDA standard requirements and methodology

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 3 years of experience in a Manufacturing environment or 2 years of experience in a Quality-related role
