Huntington National Bank Director - National Settlements Account Management in Malvern, Pennsylvania

Summary

The Director – National Settlements Account Management develops and maintains a portfolio of customer relationships within a targeted market segment related to digital payments. By coordinating sales and service efforts, this role generates revenue from businesses that support class action and mass tort settlements as well as assists with the onboarding of new opportunities identified by customers. This individual must understand the National Settlements Team (NST) core business value proposition and succeed through developing strong trusted advisor relationships with their customers.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Serves as the overall customer experience lead for digital payments through identifying, developing, structuring, and closing National Settlements opportunities.

  • Assumes full cycle responsibility in developing and managing existing and prospective client relationships to become a trusted advisor and foster long-term clients.

  • Deeply understands prospects' business and industry; pursues targeted opportunities rigorously and with a high degree of urgency.

  • Delivers timely, cost-effective and compelling proposals and solutions uniquely structured for all clients, ensuring transactions are in line with product offerings.

  • Interfaces with other National Settlements Team members and Huntington business units to expand overall primary bank relationships with clients, along with referral opportunities.

  • Engages with C-level decisions makers.

  • Initiates and conducts meetings with both internal and external clients as required to facilitate new engagements.

    Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Finance or related field.

  • 7+ years of successful consultative industry experience .

    Preferred Qualifications

  • Understanding of Treasury Management Settlement services and processes

  • Background in responding to customer inquiries and enhancement requests.

  • Expertise in working in a fast growth business segment.

  • Strong interpersonal skills, complemented by both excellent verbal and written communication.

  • Expert presentation and public speaking skills.

  • Strong relationship management and negotiation skills.

  • Strong organizational skills and detail orientation, as well as analytical skills.

  • Demonstrated ability to influence and drive complex initiatives and manage logistics with internal stakeholders.

  • Ability to analyze/understand leading technologies and companies.

  • Ability to work remotely and independently.

  • Ability to travel as required.
