Hilton Kids Club Attendant - Hilton Maldives Amingiri Resort & Spa in Maldives, Maldives
A Kids Club Attendant is responsible for leading and directing children through supervised recreational activities. Supports the hotel's continuing effort to deliver an outstanding guest service experience in the Hotel’s Recreational facilities.
What will I be doing?
As a Kids Club Attendant, you will be responsible for leading and directing children through supervised recreational activities in the resort continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
- Working with other team members to achieve excellence and maintain strong professional relationships within the team and support one another.
- Help deliver a high-quality cycle of creatively planning, developing, and implementing fun, safe and educational activities for our junior guests.
- Help ensure that all administrative documentation of importance is updated daily to meet regulatory requirements.
- Maintain a safe and hygienic environment.
- Create a friendly, secure, and stimulating interactive learning environment for our guests with a high level of supervision.
- Maintain positive working relationships with all team members.
- Ensure a high level of health & safety standards are maintained at all times.
- Ability to follow instructions from the Supervisor and Manager.
- Actively participate in Team Meetings, Training, and Events.
- To be flexible, responding quickly and positively to changing requirements including the performance of any tasks requested of you.
- To take direction from and carry out any requests by management in conjunction with work.
- To make a data of all young guest’s likes and dislikes, etc., compile various requests received and communicate to all relevant departments. Use feedback from parents to identify opportunities to enhance the quality, service, and team members’ training.
- Checks that duty checklists are completed, and follows up on any shortfall.
- To assist the Kids Club Manager & Supervisor in all other requests or needs.
- To maintain a high guest service focus by approaching your job with the guests always in mind and being proactive in a timely manner towards their needs and requests.
- To have a positive impact, taking personal responsibility and initiative to resolve issues, always clearly communicating with both guests and colleagues.
- To be motivated and committed, approaching all tasks with enthusiasm and seizing opportunities to learn new skills or knowledge in order to improve your personal performance.
- To be flexible, responding quickly and positively to changing requirements including the performance of any tasks requested of you.
- To maintain high team focus by showing co-operation and support to colleagues in the pursuit of team goals.
- To contribute ideas and suggestions to enhance operational/environmental procedures in the Resort.
- To perform all duties and responsibilities in a manner that ensures your safety and that of others in your workplace.
- To ensure that the Hilton Brand Standards are fully implemented and demonstrated by all members of the Team.
- To maintain a high standard of personal appearance and hygiene at all times by adhering to the Hilton Maldives Amingiri Resort & Spa Grooming Standards.
- To report to work punctually wearing the proper uniform and nametag at all times.
- To provide guests with friendly, efficient, accurate, and polite service at all times.
- To keep up-to-date with the SALT (Satisfaction and Loyalty Tracking) results and to seek to positively influence these results by following the Hilton Brand Standards.
What are we looking for?
A Kids Club Attendant serving Hilton Brand Hotels is always working on behalf of our Guests and working with other Team Members. To successfully fill this role, you should maintain the attitude, behaviours, skills, and values that follow:
- At least Associate Degree or College Diploma or equivalent required
- Must maintain a neat, clean, and well-groomed appearance
- Intermediate English language skills
- Basic computer knowledge
It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:
- Previous customer service experience
- Have experience in the same capacity in a 5-star hotel setting
