The Opportunity

As the eC ommerce Sales Development Manager, you will be accountable for growth acceleration in EMEA. Driving the eCommerce strategies and geographical expansion.

This position works out of our Maidenhead location in the EMEA Nutrition Division. Our nutrition business develops science-based nutrition products for people of all ages, from helping babies and children grow, to keeping adult bodies strong and active. What You’ll Do

Account Management

  • Implementing eCommerce short term & long-term strategy/framework to achieving commercial targets across all key accounts

  • Working cross functional with customer & Abbott to build relationships to ensure success across Sales, Supply Chain, & Marketing

  • Regularly to assesses spend and provide internal recommendation of return on investment.

  • Monitor competitive activity to ensure external factors are incorporated into business plans.

Financial & Forecasting Responsibility

  • Develop the Investment strategy for each brand aligned to assigned channels /Key customer and Category strategy.

  • Primary point of contact for planning & forecasting for your customers

  • Reporting weekly to the business on performance and conducting financial review/monthly tracking for given account with commercial director

Marketing Support

  • Work with digital specialist & Brand Managers to optimise digital webpages and drive engagement and conversion to improve overall digital KPIs.

  • Align Customer and Brand strategies/objectives to identify key business opportunities. Ensure eCommerce plans are integrated into annual Integrated Business Planning Process as well as Retail Joint Business Planning

Internal Business Support

  • Develop trade and consumer unit pack/price architecture framework to deliver strategic assigned channels and customer opportunities.

  • Leverage the data captured from the Ecommerce channel to provide inputs to both the Affiliates and the Area team on areas around ROI measurement, KPIs tracking, etc.

  • Maintain an impactful presence and be comfortable interacting regularly with senior level management both at Abbott Nutrition and Amazon

Required Qualifications

  • Working knowledge of E-Commerce business model (from demand generation to distribution) is required.

  • Knowledge of Retail Sales, Brand Management or Shopper Marketing

  • Demonstrates strong leadership and communication skills.

  • Ability to present and influence others, including internal Abbott and external Customer leaders.

  • Experience in working with and leading cross-functional teams.

  • Strong analytical and data mining skills

  • Educated to degree level and/or equivalent qualification with relevant commercial experience.
