UPS Payroll Specialist in Madrid, Spain

We are looking for a person who can help us improve our services and the satisfaction of our clients. You can be part of the team. What would your day to day be like?
• Collect information on hours worked for each employee.
• Calculate the correct amount incorporating overtime, deductions, bonuses, etc. with the help of the payroll system.
• Receive senior management approval for payments when necessary.
• Prepare and execute payment orders.
• Process taxes and payments.
• Track hourly rates, salaries, compensation benefit rates, new hire information, etc.
• Address employee payroll issues and questions.
• Prepare reports for senior management, finance department, etc.
What do we expect from you?
• Proven experience as a payroll specialist or payroll management.
• Medium/high level in MS Office (excel is prioritized) and previous experience in payroll system and software (People Net/Workforce/Payforce etc).
• Excellent organizational skills with great attention to detail.
• Average level of English.
• Flexibility is important within our organization, also for this position: Hours: 08:30 – 17:30 (Monday – Friday)

• Knowledge of labor legislation and regulations.
• University education
• Knowledge of accounting fundamentals.
• Medium level of Portuguese.
