Job Description

The AMI Manager will support the AMI Lead for the development and implementation and follow up of the Allergan Medical Institute (AMI) strategy for Spain, with the goal of lead the excellence in clinical practice in aesthetics medicine by supporting HCPs with the right training, tools and resources that help them to achieve the best outcomes for their patients when using Allergan Aesthetics products.

The AMI Manager is responsible for leading the execution and follow-up of the annual AMI educational journey, manage the interaction and activities with the Allergan Medical Institute Team of trainers (AMITTs) and ensure alignment with the annual Allergan Aesthetics (AA) strategy working in cross functional collaboration with the other departments. As people manager, the position is responsible of leading the Center of Excellence Training Specialist, Insite and offsite, team, overseeing all the AMI trainings, including digital resources, and the maintenance and supervision of the Center of Excellence.

Responsibilities:

Lead the execution and follow up of the annual AMI Educational Journey:

  • Support the AMI lead in the development of the annual AMI strategy.

  • Develop new training formats and/or categories aligned with the AA strategy.

  • Develop the annual calendar of AMI Trainings in alignment with medical department.

  • Lead the execution and follow up of the training activities, included the Clinical Specialist (CS) facilitations, in collaboration with the CS Manager.

  • Ensure KPIs implementation and follow up.

  • Line management of 2 direct reports.

Manage the interactions and activities with the Allergan Medical Institute Team of Trainers (AMITTs):

  • Lead the annual AMITTs plans and events participation (Train The Trainers, cadaver anatomy course, quarterly updates…)

  • Develop the annual AMMITTs participation in the educational training.

  • Follow up the quarterly financial plan in collaboration with the BAS team.

  • Frequently interaction with the AMITTs to collect and give feedback.

Maximize AMI Digital World 3.0 and materials development:

  • Develop new materials to support the educational journey.

  • Supervise AMI Digital World 3.0 strategy, implementation and follow up.

  • Integrate webinar series and On-line Masterclasses in the annual strategy in collaboration with Medical, Business Consultant and Marketing departments.

Ensure effectiveness of AMI activities:

  • In collaboration with BEX department, ensure the appropriate evolution of the AMI Educational Journey and KPIs evolution via AMI dashboard.

  • Critically reviewing, benchmarking of, and modification of the current AMI format, to ensure AMI is on top of the innovation and lead the excellence in clinical practice over any other competitor.

Qualifications

  • University degree in human medicine, pharmacy or science, or business studies with desirable experience in training in the pharmaceutical & device industry, and /or fields related to medical education.

  • Able to understand the clinical and scientific aspects of our products and techniques.

  • High levels of empathy.

  • Desirable experience leading a team.

  • Great attitudes to work in a team, interact with others and build collaborative relationships.

  • Excellent organizational skills.

  • High analytic and conceptual skills.
