14480BRDepartment Name:MMS General Accounting Location:Meriter Business Center Job Description:The Payroll Specialist is responsible for timely processing of UnityPoint Health – Meriter wide payroll and related functions. Must maintain a working knowledge of Federal Wage and Hour and DWD rules and regulations, along with various union contracts and other company policies and procedures.

Minimum Requirements:
2-year Associates Degree
1-2 years of Payroll experience
Excellent Microsoft Office Suite experience (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Critical thinking skills, working in a team and meeting deadlines
Preferred Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or human resources
2-5 years Payroll experience in large organization
PR: FPC or CPP
Experience with time and attendance systems
Experience with Lawson or other large ERP software
