JOB REQUIREMENTS: Nurse Practitioner (w/RN FA) or Physician Assistant Electrophysiology Procedural - 31872 DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES: Work Schedule : 100% FTE, Monday to Friday, four days per week, 10-hour shifts (0700-1700). Rotating procedural and clinic schedule with a potential need for future 1:6 weekend rotation with 2 call shifts per week every 6 weeks We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner (w/RN FA) or Physician Assistant to: * Be an active member of the cross functional team, by providing comprehensive care to both well and ill adult patients in inpatient, outpatient, and procedural settings at University Hospital and UnityPoint Health - Mertie. * Manage pre & post procedure patients (ie cardiac ablations, device-based procedures, extractions, cardioversions, and implantable loop recorders). First assist with pacemaker device placements, generator replacements, ablation procedures, lead extractions, and lead revisions. Independently perform cardioversions, loop recorder implantations, and loop explants. * Perform independent clinic visits (local and regional) for electrophysiology patients.
