This is a job for an Assembler C position with the company located in Madison, MS area.
Job Summary: Performs a variety of operations to assemble and test valves within a work cell of a value stream according to product specifications and quality standards. Achieves production goals to deliver on time, high-quality products to customers.
Responsibilities: Assemble valves with instruction and supervision in a work cell within the business unit. Meet productivity targets for assigned cells. Follow guidelines to assure proper set up for assembly and the actual assembly of product. Inspect and test each product produced to assure it meets quality standards. Pack product for shipping. Apply standard operating procedures to complete work assignments thoroughly and accurately; identify and correct errors and pay attention to details. Work with the cell team to meet or exceed production standards; complete work in a timely manner; plan and prioritize work. Follow safety and 5S guidelines; maintain a clean and organized work area and used good safety judgment. Understand ISO procedures and know where appropriate documentation is kept. Share input in team improvement board and High-Performance Team meetings. Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent required. 0 - 3 months experience in manufacturing environment, assembly preferred.
