Job Description:

APPOINTMENT: February 2024

RESPONSIBILITIES: The Assistant Coach for Football is responsible for all aspects related to assisting the Head Coach with conducting practices and competition, individual development, assisting with recruiting and contacting prospective student-athletes and promoting/maintaining positive public relations.

Requirements:

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor\'s degree;
  • 1-3 years of collegiate football coaching experience;
  • Proven record of player skill development;
  • Strong organizational, verbal, and written communication skills;
  • Demonstrated record of successfully recruiting academically and athletically prepared student-athletes;
  • Possession of a valid driver\'s license.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Master\'s degree;
  • Experience coaching at the NCAA DI or DII level.

For a degree to be considered, it must be conferred from a regionally accredited degree-granting institution of higher education (or equivalent from an international accrediting body). Unless otherwise stated, the degree must be conferred at the time of appointment.
